रायपुर। भगवान राम के ननिहाल चंदखुरी का सौंदर्य अब पौराणिक कथाओं के नगरों जैसा ही आकर्षक होगा। राजधानी रायपुर के निकट स्थित इस गांव के प्राचीन कौशल्या मंदिर के मूल स्वरूप को यथावत रखते हुए, पूरे परिसर के सौंदर्यीकरण की रूपरेखा तैयार कर ली गई है। मुख्यमंत्री की महत्वाकांक्षी राम वन गमन पथ विकास परियोजना में शामिल चंदखुरी में यह पूरा कार्य 15 करोड़ 75 लाख रुपए की लागत से किया जाएगा।
योजना के मुताबिक चंदखुरी में मंदिर के सौंदर्यीकरण तथा परिसर विकास का कार्य दो चरणों में कार्य पूरा किया जाएगा। पहले चरण में 6 करोड़ 70 लाख रुपए व्यय किए जाएंगे, जबकि दूसरे चरण में 9 करोड़ 8 लाख रुपए खर्च होंगे। योजना के मुताबिक चंदखुरी को पर्यटन-तीर्थ के रूप में विकसित किया जाना है, इसलिए वहां स्थित प्राचीन कौशल्या माता मंदिर के सौंदर्यीकरण के साथ-साथ नागरिक सुविधाओं का विकास भी किया जाएगा। तालाब का सौंदर्यीकरण करते हुए के मध्य में स्थित मंदिर-टापू को और भी आकर्षक तथा सुव्यवस्थित किया जाएगा।
पौराणिक कथाओं से चंदखुरी के संबंध के अनुरूप पूरे परिसर के वास्तु को डिजाइन किया गया है। तालाब मंदिर तक पहुंचने के लिए तालाब में नये डिजाइन का पुल तैयार किया जाएगा। तालाब में घाटों और चारों और परिक्रमा-पथ का निर्माण किया जाएगा। दर्शनार्थियों के वाहनों के लिए पार्किंग सुविधा भी विकसित की जा रही है। इस पूरे परिसर में आकर्षक विद्युत साज-सज्जा की जाएगी।
बीते 22 दिसंबर को चंदखुरी स्थित माता कौशल्या मंदिर के सौंदर्यीकरण के लिए भूमि-पूजन किया गया था। इसके साथ ही राम वन गमन पथ पर पड़ने वाले महत्वपूर्ण स्थलों के पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित करने की परियोजना की भी शुरुआत कर दी गई थी। मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल ने 29 जुलाई को अपनी धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती मुक्तेश्वरी बघेल और परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ चंदखुरी पहुंचकर प्राचीन मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना की थी। इस दौरान उन्होंने मंदिर के विस्तार और परिसर के सौंदर्यीकरण के लिए तैयार परियोजना की जानकारी ली थी।
श्री बघेल ने निर्देशित किया था कि मंदिर के मूल स्वरूप को यथावत रखते हुए यहां आनेवाले श्रद्धालुओं का विशेष रूप से ध्यान रखा जाए। मुख्यमंत्री ने ग्रामीणों की मांग पर मंदिर के पास से बायपास सड़क निर्माण की भी स्वीकृति प्रदान की है। साथ ही ग्रामीणों की सहुलियत को देखते हुए चंदखुरी में राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक की शाखा खोलने के निर्देश जिला अधिकारियों को दिए हैं।
