कांग्रेस के 23 नेताओं की चिठ्ठी, पार्टी में बदलाव की है मांग, ऐसे हालात में सोनिया बोलीं- कांग्रेस चुने नया अध्यक्ष
कांग्रेस में कार्यकारिणी की बैठक से ठीक पहले एकबार फिर अध्यक्ष पद को लेकर उहापोह की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो गई है. पार्टी में जोर पकड़ रही आमूलचूल परिवर्तन की मांग के बीच अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने कहा है कि अध्यक्ष पद पर एक साल का कार्यकाल पूरा कर चुकी हूं. अब कांग्रेस के नेता अपना नया अध्यक्ष चुन लें.
सोनिया के इस बयान के बाद हालात फिर से कमोबेश वैसे ही बन गए हैं, जैसे आज से एक साल पहले बने थे. तब राहुल गांधी ने अध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था. पार्टी तब भी दो धड़ों में बंटी नजर आ रही थी, आज भी नजर आ रही है. लेकिन तब और अब के हालात अलग हैं. तब राहुल गांधी ने 2019 की चुनावी हार की जिम्मेदारी लेते हुए अध्यक्ष पद छोड़ा था. सोनिया गांधी ने बड़े परिवर्तन को लेकर उठ रही मांग के कारण पद छोड़ने की बात कही है.
नेतृत्व विवाद के बीच अध्यक्ष पद छोड़ेंगी सोनिया गांधी, कांग्रेस को चुनना होगा नया मुखिया
गौरतलब है कि कांग्रेस के 23 बड़े नेताओं ने सोनिया गांधी को लिखी चिट्ठी में ऊपर से लेकर नीचे तक बड़े परिवर्तन की मांग की थी. सोनिया को लिखी चिट्ठी में नेताओं ने यह सवाल भी उठाए थे कि इस दौरान अध्यक्ष के संबोधन के अलावा कुछ नहीं होता. इस चिट्ठी पर जिन नेताओं ने हस्ताक्षर किए हैं, उनमें पांच पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और कार्यकारिणी के कई सदस्य भी शामिल हैं.
राहुल नहीं तो फिर कौन होंगे कांग्रेस के नए राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष?
जितिन प्रसाद, मुकुल वासनिक ने भी चिट्ठी पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे, जबकि ये नेता कांग्रेस कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य भी हैं. 24 अगस्त को कार्यकारिणी की बैठक होनी है. ऐसे में यदि सोनिया गांधी अध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफा दे देती हैं, तो कार्यकारिणी के सामने नया अध्यक्ष चुनने की चुनौती भी होगी.
