नई दिल्ली। कोरोना के बढ़ते मामले को देखते हुए नागर विमानन महानिदेशालय (डीजीसीए) ने एक बार फिर मंगलवार को अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ान परिचालन पर लगे प्रतिबंध की अवधि को बढ़ाकर 30 अप्रैल तक कर दिया है। हालांकि, मामले की गंभीरता के आधार पर सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा चयनित मार्गों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उड़ानों की अनुमति दी जा सकती है।
कोरोना के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए भारत की अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों पर पिछले साल 25 मार्च से प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया था। लेकिन मई 2020 से विशेष अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानें वंदे भारत मिशन के तहत उड़ रही हैं।
इनके अलावा जुलाई से चुनिंदा देशों के साथ एयर बबल समझौते के तहत भी उड़ानों को ऑपरेट किया जा रहा है। विदेशों से आने वाले कोरोना के नए स्ट्रेन को देखते हुए उड़ानों पर प्रतिबंध का फैसला लिया गया है। बता दें कि देश में 700 से अधिक लोग कोरोना के नए स्ट्रेन के चपेट में आ चुके हैं।
